My life
I currently live in Richmond, VA, with two roommates and two cats. Outside of school, I make pottery and swim at the James river. I am always reading, my favorite book right now is I Burn Paris by Bruno Jasienski.
I grew up in Gloucester and Yorktown, Virginia, next to the York river. I became interested in media studies after reading html comics online and joining virtual communities. My time was split between solitary tromps through the woods and marshes of my hometown, and reddit pages decoding song lyrics and anime clips. I began to produce my own artwork alongside divulges into Deleuze and Derrida. I am motivated by the animal inside me and the desirous drive of thinking, which leads me to write criticism. Why do I write? To feel more fully.
